According to recent data released by online lending exchange broker Lending Tree, Florida is the top destination for US residents looking to move across state lines. By analyzing all purchase mortgage loan requests between October 2016 and October 2017, Lending Tree determined the most popular destinations across 50 states.
Florida was the new destination of choice for residents in 18 of the 50 states and made up 9.14% of all purchase mortgage requests during that time period. This data highlights the continual influx of new residents to the region and the ongoing demand for new residential development such as Greybrook’s projects at 300 and 400 Biscayne in Miami and RiverX in Fort Lauderdale.
