Vertical construction set to begin at our townhome development in Oshawa.

Our Symphony Towns project with partner Marlin Spring, celebrated a major milestone this week with an official ground breaking event.  Held on site at 250 Harmony Road South, the celebrations began with a welcome speech from Pedro Lopes, Senior Vice President of Developments at Marlin Spring, who shared his congratulations to the project team on the successful sales program followed by remarks from Tito- Dante Marimpietri, Ward 2 Regional and Oshawa City Councilor and Chair of Urban Development Services Committee.  Councilor Mairmpietri highlighted in his remarks the timely tribute of the project’s park to the local hometown legend and NHL Hocky Hall of Famer, Dale Hawerchuk.

On behalf of Greybrook, Hosup Lee, Vice President, Asset Management, addressed attendees, sharing, “through its active and strategic economic development initiatives and thoughtful city planning, the City of Oshawa continues to position itself not only as an important economic centre but an attractive place to live, work and play. With this milestone we are one step closer to delivering our Symphony Towns development to the local community, helping to meet the strong housing demand the city continues to experience.”  Ben Bakst, CEO, Marlin Spring concluded the speeches for the day with some closing comments on Symphony Towns.

Following the speeches, Councilor Tito- Dante joined Greybrook and Marlin Spring’s leadership on-site for the celebratory ground breaking photo. Those who attended the event were able to survey the exceptional site location while being treated to some light refreshments with a live string trio playing soft symphonies in the background.
